Wow! We met our fundraising goal!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! ...to everyone who has either donated to our Dogswalk Against Cancer team or joined the team. We have met our fundraising goal of $2000 and have actually beaten it! Right now, we have raised $2,245, which is just incredible! We are so happy and so proud to know some of the very best people around. Three leg doesn't keep her down!

Promise is a very special little puppy girl who comes to All Wags. You see, Promise only has three legs. She was found like that by very kind people who helped her to get a second chance at a great life, and, as you can see from the photo she is having a GREAT life. She is just as active as any puppy and can run circles around her playmates. There's nothing she loves more than just running! Three legs doesn't keep her down at all. She was given a second chance and is soaking up the joy of every bit of it!

Sleepy Pals

Sometimes when you are ready for a nap, you are just ready for a nap, ya know? My friend, Vinnie, is really showing that here. He didn't even need to get all of the way onto the bed before he was ready for snoozy time. You can just tell how much he loves his family member, Snickers, and just wants to be close by too. I love how many dog families we have that come to All Wags because I love my sister, Bailey, so much and I love watching all of the other siblings and cousins. Plus, we are one big family at All Wags and that is what makes it all so special!

Dogswalk Against Cancer is only a little over a week away!

Have you signed up yet to join the All Wags team for the Dogswalk Against Cancer? Don't worry, there is still time! You can go to our team page here and sign up. We would also love to have your donation if you could. We're currently the #4 fundraising team, having raised $1785, which we are super proud of! My mama, Karen, has the transfers all ready for the Remembering Rudy t-shirts. All you team members need to do is stop by and pick up your transfer and then you can iron it onto a t-shirt of your choice at home, light colors will work best, though. If you can't pick up your transfer and need to have it mailed, just call All Wags and let us know at 704-527-9247. Also, Mandy & Ella's mama, Kelly, will pick up the Dogswalk t-shirts from the American Cancer Society next week for everyone on our team. Stay tuned for more information about our meeting spot. It's going to be a great, fun-filled day!

How about helping a sweet girl out?

Anyone want to add a sweet Boxer to their household? Maddie was adopted out of All Wags and unfortunately has been returned so she is now looking for a new forever home. She is a very sweet and loving dog and as fun as it is to be at All Wags everyday, she would really like to just find a home. Don't we all deserve a good home? She is 2 years old and is current on all of her shots. She's very well-behaved and will love you forever if you let her come live with you. Anyone interested? You can ask anyone at All Wags about her and they will be happy to let you meet Miss Maddie. Please tell your friends!

The Dogswalk Against Cancer is only 3 weeks away!!

I hope that you and your pup (s) will come out and walk with us at this year's Dogswalk Against Cancer! It's going to be a fabulous day full of doggie fun (including an Easter Egg Hunt), treats, people food and just an all around good time to spend with your pup! Plus, we get to honor our good friend Rudy who passed away earlier this year after losing his battle with cancer. Who doesn't need a friend to lick their face

We all know what it's like to have a really good friend... One who you know will always be there for you and would do anything for you... Even lick your face? Well, for us pups that's a seriously good friend! Sampson is giving Bella a fabulous grooming job while they both enjoy the sunshine. What could possibly be better than that!? Can't you just see the serene happiness on Bella's face? It's so fantastic! All Wags is such a great place to find your best pals!

Where's the sun?

What is going on outside? The pups and me really thought that spring had sprung and now it's rainy and chilly. Please come back sunny, warm days. We were really enjoying playing and jumping in the sun and laying in the sun, especially Zoey here as you can see. So, Mr. Sun, here's my plea, please come back and play with us! We will be really good and will even sit if you ask us to, but please, please come back. Rain is just no fun!

Have some dinner and help pups!

Hi Everyone! Are you looking for a way to help out pups in need and also have a fun night out? We know that all of you puppy parents deserve a nice time sitting outside having some drinks and dinner after all of the hard work that you do. Well, there is a new restaurant on East Blvd. called The Deck (it's where Rockin' Lobster and City Tavern previously were). March 5-March 16 when you take in the flier about their event, 20% of your bill will be donated to the Second Chance Medical Fund at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Care and Control. There are copies of the flier at All Wags or you can email ktamerlano@gmail.com and she will send you a copy. The Deck specializes in beach food, so it's the perfect place to go to relax and get excited for summer!

A Tired Dog is a Happy Dog

I once heard a vet tell my mama, that "A tired dog is a happy dog." Basically meaning that we like to run and play and get exercise and if we have had so much of that and we are tired, then we are good to go. That must mean that all of the lucky All Wags pups are happy dogs. We are so lucky to get so much exercise and then we can go home and snuggle with our people, who are really tired too from being at that work place all day, so it really works out well, I think. Check out my pal, Tucker. This is a photo of him that was taken at home after a day of playing at All Wags. I'd say he is a pretty happy pup! Laying there, dreaming about his next play day...

We're #2! We're #2!

... but we would really like to be #1! Right now we are in second place for top team for the Dogswalk Against Cancer, right be Team American Mastiff. We know that we can take that top spot, but we need your help. If you have not already joined our team or donated, please consider doing so. The Dogswalk Against Cancer is not only a ton of fun, but it raises money for a great cause! Plus, we are walking in honor of our dear friend, Rudy, who lost his battle with cancer in February. Hooray! The March issue of the All Wags Newsletter is now posted on the All Wags website. Click here to download it for yourself for all of your puppy reading fun! There are quite a few fun dog events listed, including info about a fundraiser for the Humane Society of Charlotte where you can take your dog with you to the Checkers game. Be sure to check that out! Chess is our dog of the month and you can read all about this fabulous little man.
